Clipboard Monitor
The clipboard monitor displays a notification whenever the contents of the clipboard change.
Starting the clipboard monitor
To start the clipboard monitor, make sure that Clipboard is enabled in the panel of activated monitors on the left of the screen. Then click the Start button.
Stopping the clipboard monitor
To stop the clipboard monitor, click the Stop button.
Information in the clipboard monitor view
Date/Time
This column displays the moment of each action that
was registered by the monitor. The time stamp is a value with a
precision of 100 nanoseconds. If multiple actions took place within a
single time interval of 100 nanoseconds, the time stamp value will be
incremented to guarantee a unique time stamp value.
Action
This columns displays the name of the action that was registered.
Process
This displays the name of the executable process which created the window which owns the clipboard.
Contents
If the contents of the clipboard are in text format, this will display the contents of the clipboard.
Format
This identifies the clipboard format. This can be the name of one of the standard clipboard formats or the name of a registered format.
Size
This displays the size of the clipboard contents.
Window Title
Displays the window title of the window which owns the clipboard.
Handle
Displays the handle of the window which owns the clipboard.
PID
This represents the process ID of the executable which created the window which owns the clipboard.
ThreadID
Displays the thread ID which created the window which owns the clipboard.
